Columbia River Biostone rock products are quarried from the West Kootenay area of BC. The primary quarry source is located near Salmo BC. The quarry has been in operation for decades and is well known to produce large quantities of high quality stone. The products from this quarry often contain dendritic patterns offering unique designs with organic influences of time and nature's elements that have influenced the naming of the company as Biostone. The quarry area has had extensive mining for over a 100 years. We quarry and manufacture flagstone for facing and for patios, ledgstone for wall facing, fireplaces etc and wall rock and slabs of various dimensions for hardscaping. We also have artistic quality selections of matched pairs and triples as well as picture rock and other custom selections.
